Bordeau Sport Horses Horsemanship Trophy
Recognizes outstanding horsemanship
Nominations:
Brittany Weber
Brittany has been such an inspiration with her young horse this year. She has met him where he is with his confidence, is always positive, kind, and focused on doing what is right for him. It is so impressive and I’m truly in awe of her positive attitude and horsemanship.Reagan Richards
My horses always get whatever they need at any point, I make sure their legs are in tip top shape, they get massage and chiro before and after every show and most of all they get turned out for how ever much time they need!Claire Greenisen

There aren’t many people in TEAM who don’t know Brittany’s name. She is an integral member of the organization, championing eventing in Michigan through organizing events, being an insanely active board member, organizing new and exciting opportunities for schooling and show jumping, and all while running a busy lesson barn. Britt’s students are always encouraged to attend TEAM events and volunteer and she works hard to instill the importance of volunteer work and commitment to TEAM in her students. She is truly an outstanding TEAM support person.Marliese Derkach
Marliese is always willing to lend a hand and is always open to help at shows, workdays, etc. She is always such a great supporter and always has a smile on her face!Jessica Phillips
Jessica has become the ultimate TEAM (and Honey Run) administrator. She has organized a jump day, coordinated TEAM repairs at Honey run, been an acting board member, and looked into alot of TEAM'S history to help us streamline and plan for a great eventing future!
Sporting Chance Trophy
Awarded to owner of a horse that contributes to the advancement of multiple riders
Nominations:
No Nottings Nest/Sozo - Chloe Miller
Every year I nominate Jake and his owners, the Miller family, for this award. Jake competed with Chloe Miller through Training level, has taken me around both my first BN and Novice events and 3 AEC's, and is now competing with Mary Clare Owdziej at Novice. This little pony has been a consistent, educational, and most of all exceptionally fun ride for several TEAM members. Everyone knows and loves the "little Haflinger that could"..Who’s your Daddy - Brittany Weber
Welli has become a schoolmaster, of sorts, educating several riders in the Eventing discipline - Katie and Marlese to name a few.
Randy Pielemeier Trophy
In honor of Randy, and his love for building XC courses this trophy is awarded to the favorite XC course this year. Voted on by TEAM members
Molly Bucci Memorial Award
Awarded to the top horse show parent of the year. Sponsored by Emily Nett Eventing
Nominations:
Sandy Fountain
Sandy is the epitome of supportive horse show parent. She is the loudest cheerleader for everyone around her, even when things are tough for her own kid, but cheers for Hannah the loudest. She is her daughter’s biggest champion whether it’s a perfect show day, or the worst one of the year. Even more impressively, she volunteers her time to TEAM during shows. I always recognize her cheers when I come past the jumps she judges. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than Sandy Fountain for parent of the year.Margaret Wooldridge
My mom has been so supportive this season of me and Galahad. Her horse, Cleo, has been recovering all season, so they haven't been able to show, but she has showed up to all my events and been amazing. She videos my dressage tests, walks XC with me, helps me tack up, all while taking care of my dog. Thank you so much, mom!Milt Hodgson
Milt is always supporting his daughter, Avalon in various ways - trailering, washing, fetching, volunteering and being on hand with drink and an encouraging word.Ross Richards
He walks my courses with me even though he may not totally know what’s going on, he’s encouraging, he never misses a show, and he just supports me through it all!Bryan Fountain
I am nominating my dad because he is the ultimate horse show parent. he is at every early morning show and always helping pick up at the end. he helps me navigate showing multiple horses and is always willing to give a helping hand in every aspect of the show:)Kathy Neirynck
She is always at shows taking photos for everyone and is willing to lend a hand when needed. She has amazing organization skills and is such a great supporter!Milton and Milt Hodgson
Taking the horse show parent into Horse show support family! the men of the Hodgson Family are supporting both Mom and Sister in eventing. Between driving to shows, weed wacking, moving fences, trailering, or just lealping load all the gear these 2 have been spotted doing all the work to support the eventing family.
Mr. Sandman Trophy
Recognizes outstanding sportsmanship
Nominations:
Brynn Gordon
She is always supporting me and others! She is always in a happy mood and has a great attitude no matter what happens!Anabelle Iverson
At Honey Run Team Challenge Anabelle came up after scores were posted to let us know that her stadium rail hadn't been counted. After winning her division in Dressage and a clear XC despite a lengthy hold on course before getting to finish XC. Anabella could have kept quiet and collected her 1st place ribbon. Instead she showed awesome sportsmanship and claimed her missed rail which dropped her out of the top spot and into second. Such a beautiful show of sportsmanship. Good Job Anabelle
