It Takes a Village – and We’re So Glad You’re Part of Ours!
The sport of eventing simply wouldn't happen without volunteers—and TEAM is no exception! Whether you're setting fences, scribing dressage, or pitching in on a work day, your time and energy keep the sport going strong. Volunteering is also a fun way to learn more about eventing and meet fellow horse lovers who share your passion.
A Quick Reminder for All Members
To be eligible for year-end awards, each member must contribute at least 4 volunteer hours during the calendar year.
Can’t make it yourself? No problem—friends and family can volunteer on your behalf! Just be sure they include your full name when logging hours so we know who they’re helping.👉 It’s up to the member (or their substitute volunteer) to record hours using the link below.
Want to Help? Here's How:
🏇 Event Volunteers Needed:
Our events wouldn’t be possible without amazing volunteers like you. From setup to jump judging to tear-down, every helping hand makes a huge difference. To get involved, check the omnibus listing for each event and contact the organizer or volunteer coordinator directly.
🛠️ Honey Run Work Days:
TEAM owns the jumps and equipment at Honey Run, and we host one or two work days a year to keep things in top shape. If you school or compete at Honey Run, this is a great way to give back! Watch the TEAM homepage or follow us on Facebook to get notified when work days are scheduled.
🌿 Local Course Maintenance:
Some of our favorite Michigan venues host their own work days too—sometimes in exchange for cross-country schooling opportunities! Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for announcements.
If you're unsure if a show, event, or clinic counts towards your hours, just ask!
We're happy to clarify—reach out through our contact page.
